DTA Working in Record Temperatures (London, UK)
On 19 July 2022, the UK recorded its highest ever temperatures, and the Drone Tech Aerospace team was on site in London working through it, continuing survey and monitoring flights on the HS2 construction project. Flying and working safely in extreme heat brings its own set of challenges, from battery performance and equipment temperatures to crew welfare on an exposed construction site, and the team adapted its schedule and procedures accordingly to keep the day's flights on track.
It made for a memorable day on one of the country's largest infrastructure projects, and a reminder of the operational discipline that professional drone work demands whatever the conditions.

Align JV (HS2) Colne Valley Viaduct Completion
DTA has worked with Align JV on the HS2 Colne Valley Viaduct since 2019, from initial topographical land surveying through to drone photography and video marking the viaduct's completion.
