This video has no narration. The soundtrack is music only and ends at about 56 seconds, so the closing title cards are silent. Visual description: the film opens with an aerial view along the completed deck of the Colne Valley Viaduct as it curves across the lakes north-west of London, with construction plant still on the approach embankment. A ground-level shot from the riverbank looks up at the underside of the deck and its concrete piers. Drone views then follow the white arched spans across the water: a wide shot over the lakes and surrounding woodland, a low pass along the deck parapet, a view over a marina of moored narrowboats beneath the spans, and a long shot down the length of the structure. The final aerial shot pulls back over the end of the viaduct where the deck meets the earthworks, with a group of workers in orange high-visibility clothing gathered on the deck to mark completion of the final section. The film closes with HS2 title cards inviting viewers to subscribe and giving the address www.hs2.org.uk.
