DTA Completes Its First Golf Course Drone Survey
In June 2016 Drone Tech Aerospace completed its first golf course drone survey, at Llantrisant & Pontyclun Golf Club near Cardiff. The project combined a full topographical land survey and 3D modelling with promotional aerial photography and video for the club.
Managing Director David Field called the project "a perfect application for drone services," pointing out that the combination of topographical surveying, 3D modelling and promotional media let the club showcase the course to current and prospective members in a way that simply wasn't possible before. The finished footage gave the club fresh, high-quality material to use in its own marketing.
