Drone Surveys across Scotland
Drone topographical surveys, roof inspections and aerial photography across Scotland, from Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders to Coldstream.
Drone Tech Aerospace has been increasingly active north of the border, flying drone survey and inspection projects across a growing number of Scottish cities and regions. Topographical land survey work has taken the team to sites within view of the Forth Road Bridge near Edinburgh, and DTA's most marginal Scottish project to date, a topographical land survey completed only a few miles inside the border, was flown at Coldstream, Scottish Borders, close to the stone commemorating The Coldstream Guards.
As our Scottish workload has grown, the same services available across the rest of the UK (topographical land surveys, roof and structural inspections, aerial photography and video, and elevated-MAST work) are now available to clients throughout Scotland, from the Borders up through Edinburgh and beyond.
Edinburgh
DTA has completed a large number of projects across Edinburgh and the wider Scotland area, covering civil engineering and construction work alongside aerial photography of the city. A night-time drone inspection of the clocktower at the Balmoral Hotel on Princes Street produced both video coverage and an overview shot of the hotel, flown safely in the city's dense, well-lit centre after dark, alongside general cityscape aerial photography of Edinburgh's skyline.
Coldstream
Coldstream in the Scottish Borders was the location of DTA's most marginal Scottish project to date, a topographical land survey flown near the River Tweed only a few miles inside the border. The survey site sits close to the local stone commemorating The Coldstream Guards, one of the British Army's oldest regiments, raised in the town.
