Drone Surveys across Wiltshire

Drone Tech Aerospace runs a local Wiltshire office in Chippenham and covers the county and its surrounding area on a regular basis. The work splits fairly evenly between construction and industrial structure inspections, site topographical surveys for facilities management, and drone or 4x4-mounted elevated MAST roof and building inspections. Wiltshire has also given us some of our largest highways work: aerial drone and MAST footage supplied for traffic monitoring and for a highways development PR video around Salisbury and Stonehenge.

Swindon and Salisbury account for most of the county's project history, with Marlborough and Chippenham as smaller, more occasional sites. The sections below set out what we have delivered in each.

Swindon

Swindon is our busiest Wiltshire town: site topographical surveys for construction and facilities management, drone roof and warehouse inspections, and construction and industrial structure inspections, alongside imagery of the town's famous Magic Roundabout. Named projects have included Thames Water facility surveys at Blunsdon and Latton, and a school drone roof inspection at Haydon Wick.

Salisbury

Salisbury is where our highways work is concentrated: 4x4-mounted elevated MAST inspections, and drone and MAST video supplied for traffic monitoring on the road network around the city and Stonehenge, including footage used directly in a highways development PR video. The combination of MAST and drone lets us hold a fixed elevated viewpoint alongside moving aerial coverage on live carriageways.

Marlborough

In Marlborough our project history covers drone 3D modelling and building surveys across a residential area, chimney and roof inspection services, aerial drone photography of the town, and a roof inspection for a commercial unit: the kind of small-site, quick-turnaround work that suits a market town of this size.
