Drone Surveys in Swansea
DTA drone and elevated MAST surveys, roof inspections and aerial photography in Swansea and Port Talbot, South West Wales.
DTA has completed a large number of drone and elevated MAST projects in Swansea and operates in the wider area on a weekly basis. Work has ranged from a full city panorama shot along St Helens Road for construction PR, through heritage-listed building inspections, to an elevated mast noise survey and industrial roof inspections. Aerial photography of Swansea Bay and the city's landmarks (the Guildhall clocktower and the Palace Theatre among them) sits alongside more technical commissions such as the drone photography and inspection work carried out at Liberty Stadium.
Port Talbot, along the coast towards Bridgend, is the other town where we have a strong project history, covering industrial and domestic roof inspections, construction survey work and event promotional photography.
Swansea
Swansea projects have included a heritage-listed building inspection at the Palace Theatre, a heritage site drone roof and building inspection, a drone industrial roof inspection, drone photography of the Guildhall clocktower, an elevated mast noise survey, and aerial photography over Swansea Bay and Liberty Stadium: the widest spread of drone and MAST work of any city in our South West Wales coverage.
Port Talbot
In Port Talbot our work has included industrial and domestic roof inspection services (the latter for insurance purposes), a construction site topographical land survey, an internal confined-space industrial inspection, and topographical surveys, 3D modelling and aerial photography and video for local golf courses. A Persimmon Homes development at Afan Lido was among the construction sites surveyed, and we photographed Aberavon seafront by drone in February 2022.
