Drone Surveys in Cardiff
Drone surveys, roof inspections and heritage-site work across Cardiff, Caerphilly Castle, Newport, Penarth and the Rhondda.
Drone Tech Aerospace has completed a very large number of projects across Cardiff and the wider South Wales region, spanning civil engineering, construction, heritage, energy and facilities-management work. In Cardiff itself our surveys have covered inner-city and congested-area roof inspections, construction site topographical surveys, brownfield and river-embankment redevelopment sites, and stockpile volume surveys, alongside aerial photography of local landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Millennium Stadium and Cardiff Arms Park. We have also carried out heritage-site structural inspections and promotional filming for the National Museum of Wales at St Fagans, and captured drone footage during a topographical land survey for construction near M4 Junction 34. Beyond the city, our South Wales client base extends across the valleys and coastal towns covered below, delivering the same range of drone survey, inspection and photography services to construction, industrial and heritage clients throughout the region.
Caerphilly
Projects in Caerphilly have included drone aerial photography and drone roof inspection work, together with a heritage-site structural inspection of Caerphilly Castle, one of the largest castles in Britain. The inspection combined close-range drone photography with elevated MAST imagery to record the structure's condition without scaffolding access.
Cwmbran
DTA has completed drone roof inspection and building inspection projects in Cwmbran, using close-range aerial photography to assess commercial roof coverings and building envelopes without the cost and disruption of scaffold access.
Merthyr Tydfil
Our Merthyr Tydfil work has included industrial site inspections, wind turbine inspections and ongoing industrial site monitoring photography, alongside a drone roof inspection for Jones Lang LaSalle at a Barclays Bank branch in the town centre, a typical example of the commercial roof surveys we carry out for property managers and their institutional clients across South Wales.
Newport
DTA has delivered drone inspection, roof inspection, construction site topographical survey and property redevelopment site survey work in Newport, plus a drone wind turbine inspection at Longlands Lane Wind Farm in nearby Magor, evidence of the range of civil engineering, energy and property clients we support across the city and the wider Gwent area.
Penarth & Tonypandy
In Penarth, our drone teams have carried out inspection and roof inspection surveys, and captured aerial photography of Penarth Pier at dawn ahead of an early start on a local project.
DTA has completed a measured building survey and a commercial roof inspection at Coleg y Cymoedd in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taff, combining aerial photogrammetry with drone-based roof condition imagery for the further education college's estates team.
